Cloud Cult

Sandy and I recently went to see Cloud Cult in concert in Minneapolis. Those guys are so awesome! If you're not familiar, I'd strongly suggest that you check them out. I suppose I would classify them in the alternative music genre. Their music and lyrics are so passionate and emotional. Craig is the lead singer and his wife Connie also tours with the band. She is one of the artists on stage. They did two paintings during the show we were at.

In 2002 Craig and Connie tragically lost thier 2-year-old son Kaidin. He died mysteriously in his sleep. A lot of their music speaks of their struggle to deal with their loss. Many of the songs display a heart wrenching pain, and yet a rejoicing in the fact that there is still love and life afterwards.

The band will be performing on "Last Call with Carson Daly" on June 17th. Tune in and see what they're about.
